Find out Vendor ID and Product ID

VID and PID together is like the name of a USB device for Windows or other OS to identify the device.  When the product EEPROM is messed up, the name may be changed to some unknown values and the software cannot recognize the device any more.  Here we show you how to find the VID and PID using the software.

1, Unplug SkypeKey.

2, In the decompressed folder, find and run usbdeview.exe prograram.

3, Click the menu Options and click on Display Disconnected Devices to uncheck it.

4, Plug in SkypeKey.  You should see it as the last USB device listed in the software.

5, Scroll to the right to find out the VendorID and ProductID values.

6, Write down the values and use them in STEP 4 and 5 for writing the EEPROM.  Please do not use letter l while you should use digit 1.

7, Exit this software.
